Steve Mlynarek, Ph.D., CIH, is an associate professor in industrial hygiene. Dr. Mlynarek's current research involves the areas of particle penetration on protective clothing, indoor air exposures and sampling, and industrial particulate and chemical exposure assessment. He has over fifteen years of experience in industrial hygiene and environmental health in both the public and private sectors. He currently teaches Indoor Air Quality, and assists with the teaching of Industrial Hygiene and Analytical Methods in Industrial Hygiene. He is an academic advisor to students in the industrial hygiene MSPH program, and also directs thesis projects for this degree. He also has extensive consulting experience in industrial hygiene exposure assessments, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene program design and review, compliance assessments, risk assessments, and litigation research and support.
